Modernizing water testing
Manual water testing methods are slow, and delayed results can jeopardize public health by failing to detect contamination in time.
Croatia’s many small waterways, which serve small populations, make monitoring expensive and difficult, further complicating the process of ensuring clean water.
Despite the abundance of waterways, Croatia lacks a centralized platform to store and share water safety data with both citizens and professionals.
Checking water safety with an app
Ericsson Nikola Tesla, together with the Croatian Institute of Public Health, set out to develop an innovative digital solution for monitoring and analyzing water quality.
They partnered with Gauss to design the digital platform and Telemetris to create IoT devices, enabling real-time, daily monitoring of drinking water.
Through a collaborative effort, we developed a digital platform that records and shares water quality data, providing essential insights to both water management professionals and the public.
