For over 25 years, Unikom has been dedicated to preserving the cleanliness and beauty of the Osijek region, ensuring well-maintained public and green spaces.
A greener and more sustainable future
With changing regulations and policies, proper waste management has become increasingly difficult for citizens to navigate.
Traditional utility companies often lack transparent and centalized user-friendly platforms, leaving communities without the information they need to manage waste effectively.
Unikom recognized these challenges and took the initiative to provide Osijek and its region with tools and guidance to make waste management simple, clear, and accessible for everyone.
Convenient and user-friendly app
Unikom aimed to create an intuitive platform, enhancing how they communicate with residents, provide easy navigation of their services, enable easier utility bill overview and payment, while helping citizens learn about eco-friendly practices.
To achieve this, they partnered with Gauss to develop a cross-platform application available in browsers and on iOS and Android devices, ensuring seamless access for all users.
With our cross-platform expertise, Unikom was able to enhance their services, ease communication, and advance enviromental awareness of their community.

Through a public tender process, Unikom carefully evaluated applicants and chose Gauss as their partner to develop the Moj Unikom web and mobile app.

Moj Unikom is a user-friendly platform designed to offer an overview of utility bills, enable paperless payments, provide waste collection reminders, share service updates, and facilitate service requests - all with ease and efficiency.

Developed with a user-first approach and simplicity in mind, the platform streamlined Unikom's operations while enhancing the experience for local residents and service users.

Since its launch, Moj Unikom platform has attracted over 8,000 app downloads, with thousands more accessing the web portal.
With improved service availability, pick-up reminders, and easy access to information, Unikom exceeded its waste separation targets, becoming Croatia’s leading city in recycling efforts.
