Last week, we had the opportunity to merge our passion for innovation and technology with our love of cooking.
Gauss and our Private High School Gaudeamus joined forces to participate in the 10th National Slavonian Shepard Stew (Cobanac) Cooking Competition in Belisce.
Although we didn’t place in the top three, our stew received plenty of praise.
The competition brought us more than just good food and socializing, and not even the rain could dampen our spirits.
Alongside our excellent chefs, Stanko and Dejan, and their assistants, Josip and David, many employees from Gauss and Gaudeamus joined in to cheer them on and, of course, to taste this Slavonian specialty.
It was an experience that further bonded our employees and gave us a chance to showcase teamwork, creativity, and a love of cooking.
The cooking lasted several hours, and the aromas wafting from our pots attracted everyone present.
In the end, the jury selected the best dishes, and although we didn’t win any medals, our cobanac garnered numerous praises from fellow contestants and visitors.
At Gauss and Gaudeamus, we believe that events like these are crucial for building camaraderie and mutual support.
Participating in such events is part of our philosophy – to work hard but also to enjoy moments of relaxation and fun.
See you next year, maybe with an even stronger recipe – and who knows, we might even win a spot on the podium then.
While we're not competing in cooking, we are dedicated to developing technological solutions that, we believe, will leave an equally strong impression.
